Its distinctive character and size make the Beams a natural, though still largely undiscovered, destination for filmmakers. Three large spaces can be hired separately, or combined for large-scale productions.
The building celebrates the raw and functional architecture of the Royal Docks, with exposed brick walls, original concrete floors and exposed steel structure.
In Space One original factory-style windows provide exceptional natural light, original roof light wells flood Space Three with daylight, while Space Two has been blacked out to achieve optimal
lighting control.

An impressive backdrop, the venue has been renovated with production in mind, with a series of additional spaces that can be activated as production offices, dressing rooms and studios. The expansive Front Yard, near the site’s entrance, is ideal for large-scale unit bases and also provides plenty of space for crew parking.
