This programme is for those who want to experience the exhibition and also get the opportunity to hear directly from the artists and special guests for an additional perspective on the art.
Friday 17 March at 7:45pm will see Matthew Schreiber, James Clar and Natalie D Kane live at the Beams for a discussion that will take guests on a journey through the looking glass to see what lies behind the spectacle created through new media and technologies. This panel will be followed by talks fromRachel Falconer (Goldsmiths) and Chandler McWilliams (UCLA) at 8:45pm, who will ask: What does the prevalence of algorithms mean for the way we live and interact now?
The following Friday at 8:15pm will see artists, Elliot Woods (from Kimchi and Chips) and Rosa Menkman discuss how the alliance of art, science and philosophy can help map a way to new understandings of ourselves and contemporary society. We expect these evenings to sell quickly, so book tickets in advance to avoid disappointment. Tickets are available here.
