Thin Air: Extended Programme
Elliot Woods (Kimchi and Chips) in conversation with Rosa Menkman
Rosa Menkman
Thin Air explores the hidden complexities that shape the world we live in, using digital technology and large-scale installation.
Extended Programming at Thin Air continues this work by bringing a programme of artists working at the intersections of art and technology, and who offer fresh perspectives on our contemporary reality and relationships. We begin with talks featuring Thin Air’s exhibiting artists.
On 24 March, exhibition artist Elliot Woods (of art collective Kimchi and Chips) will be in conversation with Rosa Menkman, the artist and researcher who has collaborated with them on their brand new piece being exhibited at The Beams. They will explore how we understand ourselves in relation to the material and digital world. How can the coalescence of art, science and philosophy help map a way to new understandings of ourselves and contemporary society?
Extended Programming tickets include access to the exhibition, which is open all evening. The talk will take place from 8.15pm – 9.15pm.
